Benguela Cove Wines At Wozani Wine Tasting
South Africa House, London, September 12, 2017
Benguela Cove Wines are showcased with more than 40 of South Africa’s other top winemakers in a wine tasting event hosted at the South African Embassy on September 12.
Three of the UK’s most high-profile wine experts, Olly Smith, Oz Clarke and Tim Atkin, will be on hand at this walkaround wine tasting, offering wine recommendations and answering questions as well as sharing some general wine wit and wisdom.
Visitors will be able to sample a range of wines from Benguela Cove vintages including Sauvignon Blanc 2015, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2015, Chardonnay 2015, Pinot Noir 2015, Shiraz 2014, Merlot 2014, Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Noble Late Harvest 2015.
The wine estate’s location and optimum climate conditions result in the ideal viticulture, say the owners. The south-easterly sea breeze is chilled by the Benguela current flowing up from Antarctica, to cool the grapes at night after the summer days, irrigated by above-average rainfall.
Wine lovers can shop online for Benguela Cove wines and join the new wine club.
Tickets to attend are £28.
