Art Exhibitions At Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate 

Over the next few months, Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate will be supporting a select number of art exhibitions by members of the Horsham Artists Group. The first, is by local artist, Jo Willis. 

 Jo Willis Art Exhibition 

Jo is delighted to be exhibiting a selection of her original oil paintings and limited edition prints at the estate from 20 July 2019 to 27 September 2019.  

After a business career spanning twenty-four years, in 2012, Jo decided on a career change and joined an art class – something she had meant to do for some time. Seven years later, she is working in oils, creating evocative canvases from her studio at home. 

Light, colour and texture are captured in Jo’s contemporary landscapes while her life studies, largely of people, exhibit a graphic quality, focusing on tone and composition. Jo’s inspiration comes from many and varied sources – old black and white photographs of people and livestock markets, herds of cows in a Sussex field, or picnicking in the countryside on a balmy summer evening. 

Jo has exhibited extensively in the south- east of England, including art fairs in Surrey, Berkshire and Kent as well as locally with the Horsham Artists group at their annual Art Trail and Art Fair.  She has also exhibited at the Mall Galleries with the Society of Women Artists and at the La Galleria Pall Mall Summer Exhibition 2019 in London.
