The Evolving Talent of Bill Hill 

As our featured artist of the month, Bill Hill is well known for his extensive knowledge of drawings and paintings using pencil, pen and at times ink. 

His journey as an artist started as a young boy in his primary school years. He then decided to pursue his dreams after school and completed his studies in life and figure drawing at the Royal College of Art in Kensington, while study Civil & Structural Engineering at University. 

Bill has also progressively attended many art classes and various workshops involving numerous techniques, satisfying his thirst to evolve as an artist. 

He now finds joy in perfecting the art of painting with soft pastels. This shows sublimely when he puts his brush to work depicting household pets, wildlife and birds. Bill is also the proud winner of the Adventurers July-August Summer Exhibition where he walked away with the Public Vote Award for the “Best Painting in Show” in 2017 and 2018. His solo works have been displayed in the foyer of Clair Hall, Haywards Heath from 2010-2018. 

Bill can sometimes be found doing various guest soft painting demonstrations and workshops at art clubs in and around West Sussex.
