Fuller’s Cottage at Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate in Horsham, West Sussex, is a charming, character-filled staycation destination with access to plenty of engaging experiences. This lovely 17th-century cottage was beautifully restored by the owners and is set on the grounds of our majestic golf course.

This staycation destination in West Sussex offers relaxation and distractions for the whole family at the golf club and wine estate and surrounding attractions.
Our self-catering cottage features four bedrooms allowing up to eight guests, ideal for larger families, groups of friends celebrating birthdays and other events or wedding parties. Guests have access to a private garden and full use of all the clubhouse facilities including the traditional Lounge Bar, terraces, Spike Bar, the Vineyard Kitchen restaurant and tennis court. You can also watch TV and use the free Wi-Fi if you would just like to stay in.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of wine tastings, ranging from Tutored Wine Tastings to Self-Drive Buggy Tours of the 50-acre vineyard of sparkling wine varieties. The stunning 18-hole Waterfall Course and the 9-hole Kingfisher Course are available to golfers.
Owned and operated by Zimbabwean born entrepreneur Penny Streeter OBE and her family, it is part of The Benguela Collection, which includes Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate. With the growing demand for English wine, the owners developed the UK’s first ‘golf and wine estate’ and a vineyard was planted in 2017 to produce sparkling wine.

The Vineyard Kitchen restaurant at Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate is the ideal setting for unwinding over a delectable meal, with fine wine and good company. As the sun sets, the restaurant transforms from an open, comfortable lunchtime dining environment to a more intimate setting in the evening. There are beautiful terraces with views of the estate and open log fires for those cold winter nights.

The famous Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens is only three miles away. The 240-acre estate features outstanding displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, magnolias and bluebells. Plants have been collected from all over the world since the 1800s and the collection is exceptional in its range and maturity, including several rare ‘champion’ trees that are threatened in their natural habitats.
The gardens host an acclaimed Pulham rock garden, constructed in 1890, a deer park and a colony of wallabies wandering the estate. The Clocktower Café & Farm Shop has a wide range of self-service refreshments to keep energy levels up during a family day out on this extensive garden estate.
Open seven days a week, Leonardslee has locally produced food products, horticultural gifts, homewares, ceramics, jewellery, wine and wine accessories.
Visitors to Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens can enjoy traditional English tea in the estate's Grade II Listed Italianate mansion, which includes home-baked scones and cakes as well as produce grown or foraged on the estate. A stunning multi-course tasting menu is available at Restaurant Interlude, where Executive Chef Jean Delport won his second Michelin Star last year.
