Getting to know our Chef Kelly-Anne Pietersen 

Executive Chef, Kelly-Anne Pietersen is renowned for her French-inspired cooking, creating dishes with rich tastes and subtle nuances. Kelly-Anne is a skilled chef trained in some of South Africa's most prestigious establishments, such as the Cape Grace Hotel and Ellerman House. She also worked at Sofia's Restaurant at Morgenster Wine and Olive Estate, before extending her repertoire further at Bertus Basson's award-winning Overture Restaurant. Currently, she is responsible for the delicious menus served in the Vineyard Kitchen Restaurant.  

Kelly-Anne has earned several awards, including second place in the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs' Jeunes Chef Competition and the Tastic Chef Competition.  

Kelly-Anne's passion for cooking and baking began when she was a young girl, watching her inspiring mother and grandmother in the kitchen. She has expanded on their traditional recipes with creative twists, blending flavours to create robust yet refined dishes that have a French flair. Her menu is full of innovative desserts and classic dishes that are sure to tantalize the taste buds. You can try these recipes at home, and of course, they pair perfectly with Benguela Cove wines.
